Corporal punishment
In my view corporal punishment is never right. I think children should not be hit, smacked, scared out of their wits. Before 1990 schools disciplined children by using corporal punishment. Has anyone heard of the saying you learn from your mistake often children were strapped for just making a mistake. Whats the point of teaching children violence.
If you hit children they will think it’s all right to hit other people. I think there are better ways to get people to learn, like detention or if it’s something really bad like being threatened with scissors and being punched square in the nose, then the parents should get told and they should get suspended for a week at school. at my school two people went into the hall to avoid doing Spanish. Their punishment was they had to write a sorry form and be benched for lunch. I think this punishment was strict enough and the two boys learnt their lesson. After they never ditched Spanish again.
So I think corporal punishment would not have improved the two boys behavior.
Screams and shouts from all the class rooms. Imagine all of your class staring at you while your class staring at you think your behind is on fire.
If you got smacked with a strap, ruler, or belt what would you do scream, shout? Neither will help you. So if you don’t want to suffer in complete agony. Then agree with me and stop corporal punishment around the world.
